The Residential Care Specialists

Introduction to Licensing for Residential Care Facilities: Group Home, Assisted Living Facilities and Personal Care Homes (GHAIL00)
Identifying the First Steps
Webinars will Resume After the Holidays!

Date:   January, 2012     Time:   9:00 – 9:45 a.m. (PST)

The terms Group Home, Assisted Living Facilities and Personal Care Homes refers to  24-hour residential care, supervision and protection facilities that provide assistance with at least one of the activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, walking, toileting, etc.)  These terms are used interchangeably and in a generic manner throughout the USA: however, for consistency we will use the term group home from this point forward when referencing this type of facility.

Most people are unaware that it is possible to be licensed for a group home yet not eligible to receive resident referrals from the government referral sources.  This and other important factors impacting the viability of a group home will be discussed in this Webinar.
